Challenge set for chipper Chippenham local

Frankie Durham from plumbing merchant PTS (Plumbing Trade Supplies) on Vincents Road, Chippenham is set to tackle the Llyn Peninsula in Wales on 12th September, to raise money for the NSPCC.

Frankie and his partner are hoping to finish the 25 mile hike in a challenging six to eight hours, significantly less time than recommended to complete the arduous journey. The PTS trade counter assistant has been preparing for his big day and getting into shape by trekking in the Lake District at every possible opportunity.

Frankie, said: "This is the first time I've done something like this but I'm looking forward to the challenge especially as it's in such a beautiful setting. I've set myself a fundraising goal of £300 and so far I'm on track thanks to the support of customers coming into the Chippenham branch.

"The NSPCC is PTS' official charity and as it's an incredibly worthy cause I hope everyone will come and visit us before 12th September to donate whatever they can."
