PTS Continues To Score For The NSPCC
02 June 2009
PTS branch staff, management and suppliers have raised a staggering £2,000 for the NSPCC after gathering on Sunday 10th May for its annual 5-a-side football challenge.
The overall victors were AC Enfield from PTS Enfield - who took home a trophy in addition to a well earned sense of glory. Through the generous sponsorship gathered by the 34 teams, PTS managed to further its support of its partner charity which helps vulnerable children and young people at risk of cruelty in the UK.
Alan Ball, PTS Managing Director, said: "This is the third year we've held the 5-a-side challenge and it's fantastic to see a good turn out every time and sums of money coming in for a very worthy cause. I was pleased that I was able to play despite some lasting injuries from the London Marathon and thankfully the rain held off for perfect playing conditions. It was good to carry on with the fundraising spirit and raise even more to help children in the UK."
