PTS Goes Potty For Charity Refurbishment
10 August 2012
The Stroud branch of leading merchant PTS has donated a range of sanitary products, complete with fixtures and fittings, to help renovate the dilapidated toilet block of a local charity.
The work took place at the award winning Nelson Trust which has helped thousands of people recover from addiction since it opened over 25 years ago. Local building services specialists EESI Ltd organised the refurbishment of the charity's rundown toilet block and called on the generosity of local companies including PTS.
James Howells, Branch Manager at PTS in Stroud, said: "PTS is relatively new to the Stroud area and like other branches nationwide, we are keen to be involved in local community projects. The Nelson Trust is a very worthwhile charity and could not afford the refurbishment themselves, so we were more than happy to donate the products that EESI needed in order to get the job done."
The Nelson Trust is housed within an old school building and the original toilets were small, cramped and in a bad state of repair. PTS donated three of its own brand Aquafina toilet pans, cisterns and seats, in addition to three wash basins, taps and all the necessary piping.
PTS Stroud is located at Unit D, Kingfisher Business Park, Stroud, GL5 2BY and be contacted on 01453 889 700.
