Sales Meeting Makes A Splash For Cystic Fibrosis Trust
26 August 2010
When the PTS South West Sales Team was told to attend a sales meeting, they didn’t expect to be met by surf boards! Following their usual business meeting, the team of 13 donned wetsuits and braved the ocean for a fun filled day of surfing lessons to raise £450 for Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Trust, PTS’ charity of the year.
Neil Saunders, PTS Area Sales Manager for Central South West, said: "Many of us had never been surfing before so this was a completely new challenge but we definitely gave the local surfers a run for their money! It was a great way for the team to bond and have some fun, as well as raising vital funds for CF Trust. I'd like to say a big thank you to everyone that sponsored us and the crowd that came down to support us on the day."
The South West Sales Team and everyone at PTS' 320 nationwide branches will be taking part in activities throughout the year to raise funds for CF Trust.
Cystic Fibrosis is one of the UK's most common, life-threatening, inherited diseases which affects over 8,500 people in the country.
