PTS Announced as BuildStore Partner

PTS is spreading its wings to target consumers in the self build and renovation market, through a partnership secured with BuildStore.

The leading provider of heating, plumbing and sanitaryware will soon be setting up base in the Trade Village at BuildStore’s 67,000 sq ft National Self Build & Renovation Centre in Swindon, where its services will be actively promoted to BuildStore’s customers.

BuildStore works with over 250 suppliers from right across the self build market - from groundwork engineering companies to home entertainment system providers. Each has a permanent presence at the Centre and along with PTS, were involved in the recent National Self Build and Renovation Show, which saw over 2,500 visitors attend over four days, picking up tips and advice from industry experts.

Commenting on the partnership, PTS Managing Director, Alan Ball, said: “One of the challenges we have set ourselves as a business is to find to innovative ways in which to grow. This will be the first time we have actively marketed ourselves to consumers and we are keen to raise awareness of the service we can offer to this audience.

“We will of course be involving our existing customer base of installer and heating engineers in this activity, providing education, encouraging new relationships to form and promoting health and safety.”

PTS will use its stand at the BuildStore Centre to promote its range of products and services, with a particular emphasis on renewable energy.

Alan Ball continued: “We opened the country’s first Renewable Energy Centre in Aylesford, Kent, in late September and while this may be a couple of hours’ drive from Swindon, we will be taking a similar approach at BuildStore. Interactive displays will help to educate the consumer on renewable technologies and by having sample products installed on the stand, visitors will be able to get a realistic idea of what they could use in their project.”
