Ian Church - Managing Director
Joined Travis & Arnold in 1980 as a Management Trainee. Ian spent time working at all levels before being appointed as a Branch Manager in 1990 at Travis Perkins in Bridport and went on to manage TP branches in Maidenhead and Rugby.
In December 1999, Ian was appointed Regional Director for the West Midlands and in 2004 promoted to Managing Director, Travis Perkins Midlands. During his tenure as MD, TP Midlands, the branch network grew from 92 to 153. Ian became Managing Director of PTS in September 2011.
Kevin Williams - Northern Regional Managing Director
Kevin Williams, joins PTS after a 17 year career with Travis Perkins, most recently working as the Regional Director in the Midlands. Kevin was appointed Northern Regional Managing Director in February 2012. Kevin has responsibility for 139 branches.
John Vaughan - Southern Regional Managing Director
After becoming a Branch Manager and Area Sales Manager for HRPC, was a Regional Manager for Parts Center before joining PTS in 2006 as Area Director. Promoted to Regional Managing Director in 2007 and now has responsibility for over 170 branches.
Maxine Frost - Renewables Director
Worked at Twyford Bathrooms for 15 years in total, joined as an Area Sales Manager and then ran the merchant & developer team in the Southern Region working with many suppliers, developers and merchant groups. Spent the last four years at Twyford as National Account Manager for PTS. Joined PTS in 2008 as Sector Director for the New Build, Hotel and Leisure team and appointed to Sales Director for the contract sector in January 2010.Maxine Frost was appointed the new role of Renewables Director in 2012. This newly created position reflects the importance of the renewables sector and our desire to further PTS' position as a major player in this market.
Nigel Gamble - Commercial Director
Joined the BSS Group over 35 years ago. Started as a heating and ventilation design draughtsman, before becoming an external sales person for BSS Industrial operating in the West Midlands. Promoted into product management for industrial heating and hot water equipment before moving to the Domestic Division 11 years ago as Purchasing Director responsible for heating products. He was promoted to Commercial Director responsible for supplier and product strategy in January 2007.
Pete Woodward - National Accounts Director
Joined the BSS Group in 1994 and successfully completed the internal sales trainee programme before moving to Zenith in the South West. In 2000 Peter moved to the PTS head office to help create the National Key Accounts team and was appointed Key Account Director in 2004. Peter was promoted to National Accounts Director in 2010 and now has responsibility for one of the group's largest accounts.
Max Brown - Supply Chain Director
Joined the Builders Merchant industry in 1975 working in a regional lightside branch business that later became part of a national group. Progressed through to Branch, Area, Regional and Divisional management roles. This included organic and acquisitioned growth as well as development of the business product mix into heavyside, architectural hardware and plumbing and heating.
Then joined our PTS business in 1988, very early in its inception, and now it's at 320 branches in 2012 supplied from 4 Regional Distribution Centres and direct from suppliers.
In recent years the career path has developed into supply chain responsible for delivering a robust and agile 1st Class service offering for our customers.
Sherri Skene – Head of Marketing
Sherri joined the TP group in 2005 where she has worked in various roles within the Trade Marketing Department with her most recent being Marketing Manager for City Plumbing Supplies. Sherri took up the role as Interim Head of Marketing for PTS in November 2012 with a team responsible for the Marketing of the PTS brand at both a National and local level.
