LEGAL REQUIREMENTS

It is a legal requirement that all proposed installation work in dwellings has to be notified to Building Control before work commences.

• In the UK, there are currently between 900 & 2000 heat pump installations per annum
• The REA projected installations needed by 2020 : Ground Source 950,000, Air Source 1,440,000 and Solar Thermal 1,300,000
• These awards are renewable every five years

HOW YOU CAN BENEFIT FROM THIS TRAINING

• Once enrolled in the scheme, the successful candidate will be able to self-certify a HEAT PUMP Installation
• Be able to install components required, after gaining the necessary skills on this two-day programme. (Contains both Training and Assessment).
• Allows you to join the MCS Microgeneration scheme opening up an avenue of funding for your customers, such as the Renewable Heating Incentive
