LEGAL REQUIREMENTS

It is a legal requirement that all proposed installation work in dwellings has to be notified to Building Control before work commences.

• Other schemes based on getting funding for the customer have proven very costly to join and often unfruitful. However savings can be made through self-certification.
• Ensure you comply with the Health and Safety Regulations.
• This award will allow the installation to be self-certified.
• These awards are renewable every five years.

HOW YOU CAN BENEFIT FROM THIS TRAINING

• Once enrolled in the scheme, the successful candidate will be able to self-certify a SOLAR thermal Installation.
• Self-certification will save both time and money.
• Install all components required after gaining the necessary skills on this two-day programme. (Contains both Training and Assessment).
• Allows you to Join the MCS MICROGENERATION SCHEME opening up an avenue of funding for your customer such as the Renewbale Heat Incentive
